4.Double-click “HKEYLOCALMACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Control Print Environments Windows x64 Drivers Version-3.” Substitute “Windows x64” for “Windows NT x86” if you have a 32-bit system. If you’re not sure whether you have a 64- or 32-bit system, click Start, right-click “Computer” and select “Properties” to find out. Under “Version-3,” you’ll find driver information for each of your printers. You can make manual configuration changes to the drivers if you’re an advanced user or delete the folder if you’re manually removing a printer from your system. 3.Double-click “HKEYLOCALMACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Control Print Providers LanMan Print Services servers printers” if the networked printer is installed on a printer server computer.
Windows Could Not Connect To The Printer Check The Printer Name And Try Again

Fix for Cannot Remove or Delete Network Printer in Windows. Via the registry, but you have to have Admin access. You may get a message from Windows saying “Cannot delete network printer” and that’s it! Great, so now you have useless printers clogging up your printer list. And then the name of the actual printer.
You should see a folder with the same name as your printer server computer and, underneath that folder, you’ll see a list of all hosted printers. Deleting the printer server folder will disconnect all hosted printers from your system; deleting an individual printer’s folder will disconnect only that printer.

Be very careful when working directly with the registry. I do not take responsibility for any consequences. (end of disclaimer)The fix, which worked for me yesterday, is simple:Go to HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionWindows -If the Windows key doesn't exist, create a new key; Then check for the following entry (or create it if it is not there)Name: DeviceType: RegSZ (String Value)Value: winspool,Ne00.
