Left 4 Dead 2 Best Maps
So I just bought Left 4 Dead 2 today on Xbox 360, got back from the shop about 2 hours ago, and I wanna buy one of the DLC packs. Because I'm so poor and can't afford much, I can only get 1 DLC at the moment. So I wanted to get an opinion from you guys on which one is the best.I definitely intend on getting all 3 of the DLC's in the future, probably after I get Counter Strike: GO. So which one is the best to start off with? I don't care about difficulty, I want to know which one has the most value. Which one is being played the most online? I'd hate to get one of the DLC's and then find out everybody is always playing the other one. That's all the important stuff.
On another note if you play Left 4 Dead 2 and want to play with me my Gamertag is HeadbangnLegend. I've also been playing Team Fortress 2 a lot lately. If you haven't already guessed I've gotten a recent addiction to Valve and I'll be getting Counter Strike: GO near release. I still find No Mercy really fun, along with all the other 'classic' maps.No Mercy and Hard Rain are the best maps of the Left 4 Dead series. That being said, I recommend getting the classic DLC or the Passing. The passing is really fun!. But yeah it's pretty much the same for me. I've tried running TF2 on my computer a few months ago and it was so laggy it was impossible for me to play anything. I only got a little way through the tutorial before one part of it was too much for my computer to handle and it lagged to the point of not being able to do shit. I tried Left 4 Dead 2 a while ago and my computer can't even handle the graphics. My screen just had random colours and weird lines as soon as I started a game.So as for the DLC you guys are telling me to get The Passing right?
I had a look at the descriptions of the DLC and I noticed Cold Stream comes with 4 original Left 4 Dead maps while the others only come with 2?So is getting Cold Stream more worth it because of the amount of maps it comes with? Or is The Passing still better because of the fun level?? All of the mutations will be available on Xbox 360 as long as you own The Passing DLC.Can someone explain? Are there new types of special infected only available in The Passing? And is it not available with Cold Stream? Also once getting it, does it allow the 'mutation' to be used on other maps?If you don't feel like clicking on the link, Mutations are basically special game modes that were released ever week or so on the PC; I'm not sure how they work on the console but they basically change something about the normal game mode.

' Long as we still got guns, we gonna fight.' Big, badass, nasty weapons over here!' ―piles can be used to refill main weapon ammunition. The primary weapons in and are divided into two classes or tiers. First-tier weapons (also called Tier 1 weapons) are restricted in choice, and available to all players at the start of any campaign. Second tier weapons (also called Tier 2 weapons) are relatively superior in combat effectiveness to Tier 1 weapons and are only found once players have partly completed a Chapter.Melee combat differs between Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2.
In the former, is a simple violent 'shove-back' on an Infected at arm's length distance using whatever Tier 1 or 2 weapon the player happens to be wielding at the time. Melee attacks can also be mounted using a or if a player is carrying one of these items. Left 4 Dead 2 melee combat is greatly enriched because it carries over Left 4 Dead's Tier 1 and 2 'shove-back' and introduces a wide range of new melee-specific weaponry such as the,. Melee shoves and attacks can be made on any class of Infected although their effectiveness is questionable in the case of, and (except in some situations). There is no way to distribute weapons or ammunition among teammates without picking up another weapon to replace the dropped (donated) weapon's slot in the donor's inventory.
All weapons have an attached powered by a battery with unlimited life.Picking up a new weapon from a table or other location (but not from a dead Survivor) provides a full ammo refill for that weapon and equates to restocking from an ammo pile. This is useful since a player can fire off a large volume of ammo from one weapon and then simply pick up a fresh weapon to get a full ammo resupply. This avoids having to waste time reloading the original weapon or visiting an ammo pile to restock.
If all Survivors select the same weapon from a pile or arrive at an arms pile identically armed with the same weapon, that weapon type will not appear at a subsequent arms pile. To fix this, a player can trade that weapon out for another type of weapon in the pile whereupon the absent weapon will reappear. Ammo piles can resupply any type of weapon apart from the and the in Left 4 Dead 2.Weapons will continue reloading despite the lack of reloading animation during melee attacks, provided that reloading starts before the melee attacks. This also means that if two Infected are positioned one behind another, shooting at the first one will also damage the one behind it. There are three exceptions to the penetration rule:.
Shotguns have infinite character penetration up to 300 game units (roughly five meters). Hunting rifles/sniper rifles have infinite penetration no matter the distance.
