You can actually rename the FOSE or FOMM launchers to 'FalloutLauncher.exe', which is the executable Steam looks for when launching the game. Steam will then launch the appropriate program, but still think that it is Fallout.For example, I did these steps with FOSE:. Navigate to Fallout 3/New Vegas's folder under steamapps. Change the FalloutLauncher.exe file to be a different name, such as FalloutLauncher-orig.exe (in case you want to revert). Create a copy of the fose-loader.exe file, and rename it to FalloutLauncher.exe (Leave the original named as foseloader.exe, as FOMM will look for this file when you launch FOSE through it.). Click Play in Steam.
It should launch the game with FOSE.I chose to do this with FOSE instead of FOMM, because FOSE launches the game directly. If I want to access FOMM, I still have it's link as a 'Non-Steam game'.
ENB SettingsInfo: ENB is a graphic render and memorymanager made by.ENB ads a lot of new effects to the game, andmakes it more stable at the same time. It does however come with the cost ofperformance.
Expect a 10-30% drop, depending on your system and drivers. I strongly recommend installing ENB anyway, even on low-end systems.If you don't think the graphical improvements are worth the FPS drop, then you can disablethe effects, and still get the betterstability without the performance drop. Installing ENB & the Settings Files1 - Download the ENB filesENB Download site: Download version 0.322.Download mirror, in case the ENB site is down: Unpack the file and copy the content of the 'WrapperVersion' into the Fallout3 game-folder. If asked, overwrite any existing files. 2 - Download the Fallout 3BeautificationProject ENB SettingsFallout3 BeautificationProject ENB Settings: Unpack the file into the Fallout 3 game-folder. Games like battlefield 3. When asked, overwrite anyexisting files. 3 - Disable the Steam OverlayObviously this only applies for the Steam version of the game. If the SteamOverlay is enabled, the game will start up with excessive contrast.Normal contrast may apply after entering another cell, but it's notguaranteed.

Turning the Steam Overlay off is the best solution. Setting up ENBThe only thing you need to setup, is indicating how much videomemory ENB can use. The settings are pre-made for systems with Nvidia GeForce 10seriesGraphics cards. If you have a GTX 1060, 1070 or 1080, you don't need to change anything. Skip tothe next step instead.If you have an older nVidia graphics card, these setting most likely work aswell, but if they don't, the ENB might not be able to auto-detect youmemory.
