The disk is formatted correctly with GPT, it already has an existing install, I am just trying to do the unattend portion. Also, the wipe disk should remove the existing partitions anyways. @Gorfmaster We boot with UEFI bios in UEFI mode, the x64 UEFI client unattend file is correctly applied. I get the message 'We can't create a recovery drive' with the added info 'A problem occurred while creating the recovery drive'. I don't get to the screen to select the USB flash drive. No indication of what the problem is/was which is most helpful (?) I have a 64 GB formatted USB drive installed.
The log will appear in the center pane. You'll be looking for RED circles for Errors and Critical. Use the Details and General tabs to find out more. The one you posted seem to point to your Hard Drive, is it a SSD?You also shoudl use an Elevated Cmd Prompt to run diskpart. Type cmd in Search, right click cmd.exe and Run as Administrator.

While preparing the bootable USB of Windows 10 via Boot Camp, I got “ Your bootable USB drive could not be created: An error occurred while copying the Windows installation files” error.Since the error occurred while copying Windows installation files to USB, I first checked if the ISO is corrupted but it was in good shape. I simply unmounted the ISO file, run Boot Camp and this time Boot Camp completed its business without the error. Those of you encountering “Your bootable USB drive could not be created: An error occurred while copying the Windows installation files” error while preparing the bootable USB of Windows 7, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10 using Boot Camp, need to unmount the ISO file, if it’s mounted.Follow the given below instructions to unmount the ISO error and fix “Your bootable USB drive could not be created” error.
